Legal Representation in Greece
In 2026, Andreas’ family engaged legal representation in Greece to assist in obtaining official documentation relating to his death.
To facilitate this process, Marina Gallagher and her first cousin, George Kambas of Adelaide, Australia, each executed a Power of Attorney authorising their lawyers to obtain the relevant records from the appropriate authorities.
According to the family’s lawyers, the requests were unsuccessful because the Regional Office in Nea Triglia advised that it could not establish that Marina Gallagher and George Kambas were related to Andreas Kambas. As a result, the requested documentation was not released through their legal representatives.
The family continues to seek access to official records through the appropriate legal processes.
